Farm to Table Camp

The July 2021 week-long “Farm to Table” gardening camp will educate children on the importance of growing a garden, harvesting produce for themselves and others, and being good stewards of the Earth. Students will learn hands-on via 2 “teaching beds” reserved for the children in our YMCA Community Garden, engaging in gardening-related and purpose-filled projects. Children enrolled in the camp will share their learnings with participants in the YMCA’s other camps via group activities. Grant amount: $3,000
