LIVE BEE PRESENTAION
The Rockfall Foundation, in collaboration with Healthy PlanEat and Drew’s Honey-bees, is offering the opportunity to learn about the honeybee.

Learn About Honeybees
– Honeybees vs native bees
– Why beekeepers keep honeybees
– Pollinator-friendly habitats
– The remarkable evolutionary path and solutions of the honeybee.
– Different jobs bees have in a hive
– Bees and the functions they fulfill throughout their life.

A maximum of 20 people per session are allowed. Priority is awarded to those that sign up first until all the spots are filled. Completion of the form before the date of the outing is mandatory. A parent, guardian or responsible adult must be present for each child for the duration of the tour.

Note: Please have children wear boots or shoes covering their ankles.
