The Rockfall Foundation is pleased to partner with the Connecticut River Museum to present an environmental forum as our Meet Your Greens: Middletown Green Drinks event for the month of May. Join us on Thursday, May 11 for Riparian and Backyard Plantings to Help Pollinators, a discussion focusing on plants and pollinators along the Connecticut River. Presenters include:
- Judy Preston, Sea Grant discussing riparian plantings and how to support pollinators
- Gale Reynolds, UCONN Extension, home gardening for pollinators
- Jeff Cordulack, CT NOFA, the impact of climate change on pollinators and the importance of pollinators for agriculture
- Jane Seymour, CT DEEP, discussing native pollinators in native habitats
This program is free to the public, advance registration is encouraged. The event begins at 5:30 pm; refreshments will be served and a Meet Your Greens reception continues on the dock immediately following.
